The materials we select when designing our products is one of the biggest decisions we can make.
When considering how to make an awesome item that will last a long time, we need to consider the origin of these materials and their environmental impact. Because of this, we have committed to only producing garments that fall into the following categories.
For the animals
As you have probably guessed, we are a cruelty-free, vegan company. From our team of founders, to the way we run our office, and of course the materials we use for our products, being free of animal products spans through every part of our brand.
the wonder fabric
One of our favourite fabrics to use at Nōskin is hemp. Easy to grow, durable, breathable and one of the most sustainable materials we can obtain, we are working towards incorporating more hemp throughout our garments, and our Hemp Worker Jacket showcases this fabric perfectly.

Whilst not as sustainable as fibres such as hemp, organic cotton uses up to 91% less water to produce than virgin cotton and is produced without harmful chemicals or fertilisers.
We use organic cotton for all of our base garments such as t-shirts to reduce our environmental impact.
Using recycled materials is one of the best things we can do when creating garments, especially those that don't come from natural fibres (such as polyesters or nylons). This not only helps divert fabrics from landfill but also prevents the overuse of virgin fabrics in our garments.
